MASH - Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub Partnership Event

This is a full networking day with Guest Speakers and workshops on;
1. A Person’s Journey Through Safeguarding
When a referral has been made to the MASH, what happens? This workshop gives colleagues and partners, and overview of Safeguarding concerns received into MASH through to the completion of the enquiry, how multi-disciplinary working is paramount and ensuring Making Safeguarding Personal is embedded in every stage of the enquiry. This will be a presentation where questions and discussions are welcomed.
2. Adult local Authority Designated Officer (ALADO) to manager Person in a Position of Trust (PiPoT)
What is the ALADO role? How does it support our colleagues and partners when dealing with safeguarding concerns where a PiPoT is identified. This will be a short presentation with questions and discussion.
3. Domestic violence, safeguarding and mental capacity
Executive function, the causative nexus and Mental Capacity Act. What does good Safeguarding practice look like when using these ideas with people experiencing Domestic Violence?
