Safeguarding Workshop - Understanding Adult Carers and Young Carers' Needs

This workshop is designed for professionals working in Sheffield to help you better identify and support young people and adults who have caring responsibilities.

 

This workshop will give you up-to-date information about the impacts that caring responsibilities can have on carers of all ages, as well as practical tips and resources for identifying and supporting them in your work.

 

It will focus on:

  • Impacts of Caring – Who are Carers – How to Identify a Carer
  • Carers Centre Services & Resources (Carers Needs Assessment – Universal Services)
  • Adviceline  
  • Tier 1 – Tier 2 Assessments
  • Professional Referrals
