This interactive session will provide up-to-date information on the challenges young carers face, the impact of caring responsibilities on their lives, and how to offer meaningful support. You’ll gain practical tips, resources, and guidance to help you make a difference in your role.

By the end of the session, you will:

• Understand who young carers are and the wide range of responsibilities they may take on
• Recognise the signs that a child or young person may be a young carer
• Understand the impact caring can have on a young person’s wellbeing, education, and development
