Working Together to Safeguard Adults
New One Day Courses for 2023-24
Due to the ongoing COVID19 situation the Working Together Two-Day courses have been suspended, but we are pleased to announce a One Day Multi- Agency Working Together Course.
This course will be now be delivered face to face.
The course aims to reflect the Care Act and the need for agencies to work together to safeguard adults at risk and embed making safeguarding personal.
The Learning Outcomes for the day are:
- Outline how to identify safeguarding issues and raising a concern (Statutory Criteria for Decision Making (Sec 42(1))
- Describe the principles of Making Safeguarding Personal and achieving an adults outcomes
- Discuss the purpose of a multi-agency planning meeting and risk identification and risk management
- Explain the methods and approaches of a Sec 42 (2) Enquiry
- State the importance and the basic principles of information sharing and data protection
