New: Transitions From Childrens to Adults Services - Collingwood Theatre Video

During Safeguarding Awareness Month 2026 SASPB ran a joint face-to-face conference with Sheffield Children's Safeguarding Partnership (SCSP), focusing on Transitions.

A theatre company, in collaboration with SCSP and SASPB, wrote a specific piece around transitions with actors playing the part of the victim and a professional. The session was in the form of ‘forum theatre’, a powerful process engaging the audience stop the performance when they feel it needs to change direction or something different said etc. This means the audience are in control of conversations, reactions etc.
